Action Figure News - SEG Toys Pink Floyd "The Wall" Action Figure Review

In early 2004, SEG Toys announced the release of their Pink Floyd action figure line. These rare collectibles from SEG Toys are not the typical action figures, but rather a maquette based on the animated portions of Alan Parker's 1981 film, Pink Floyd "The Wall". Standing about 7" tall, each figure is made to interlock with other figures in the set to build "The Wall". When you throw in the second release of more Pink Floyd figures by SEG in 2005, with all the figures, you could build Pink Floyd's wall to a little over 3 feet.

SEG Toys Pink Floyd "The Wall" series one figures included the Eagle Warplane, School Master, Marching Hammers, Judge & Scorpion, and Pink. The limited edition box set also included a sixth exclusive maquette diorama not available separately: The Megaphone Hammer. The series one figures are now completely sold out from SEG Toys and according to our SEG Toys action figure values, the box set is now pulling in a generous $170 each on the collectible market!

Series 2 figures from the SEG Toys Pink Floyd series are still available at a select number of retailers, but we expect a complete sell out in the next couple months. Not unlike the first series of Pink Floyd figures, we expect the prices to climb for series 2 as well. The series 2 Pink Floyd "The Wall" figures include the Prosecutor, Gas Mask Mutant, Skeleton Soldier, Mother, Evil Flowers and, as with Series 1, a sixth figure available exclusively in the boxed set: The Flowers.
