In 1997, the first Mcfarlane music figures were released featuring the legendary rock band KISS. The response by action figure fans was so amazing that Mcfarlane Toys was immediately determined to expand their music figure selection the following year by adding their KISS Psycho Circus Series 2 action figures in 1998. Over the next few years, the Mcfarlane music figures repetoire grew to include the Beatles, Ozzy Osbourne, many more KISS figures, Jimi Hendrix, Angus Young of AC/DC, Jerry Garcia, Metallica, and Jim Morrison.

2004: A Great Year for Mcfarlane Music Figure Fans

The year 2004 kicked off a great few years for Mcfarlane music figure fans. They saw a nice variety of music figures hit retail shelves that year. Action figures depicting the Beatles, Motley Crue, Jimi Hendrix and KISS were all released in 2004. To top it off, the amazingly popular Mcfarlane Elvis figure series was started in 2004 by Mcfarlane Toys. The first Elvis action figures in the series were released. To date, Mcfarlane has released at least two Mcfarlane Elvis figures every year since.

We can only venture a guess as to what the next Mcfarlane music figures to make their way into the Mcfarlane Toys product catalog will be, but we do know one thing. They will be great!
