Movie Action Figure News: Mezco Pumps Up Goonies Sloth Figure for 2008 SDCC!

Just in time for the 2008 San Diego Comic Con, Mezco Toyz has announced an exclusive action figure featuring the loveable Sloth from the blockbuster movie, The Goonies. The SDCC Goonies Sloth action figure is a pumped up 12-inch version of Sloth. In contrast to the original Goonies action figures from Mezco Toyz, the 12-inch SDCC Goonies Sloth figure will tower over the standard sized figures.

In addition to the larger size of the SDCC Goonies Sloth action figure, there are additional differences between this Goonies figure and the 7-inch Sloth figure that was part of the original Goonies action figures series by Mezco Toyz. The most obvious detour from the originally styled Goonies figures is that the 12-inch Goonies Sloth figure comes complete with real cloth clothing and accessories like a removeable pirate hat, sword, a plate of food, and even an action figure sized portion of rocky road ice cream. To top it off, the Sloth action figure features Sloth in a SDCC t-shirt (under his cloth clothing). Each SDCC Mezco Toyz Goonies sloth figure is part of a limited edition of only 1000 worldwide.
